Tom has had an extensive career in financial services. Prior to founding Alvine Capital he was Managing Director and Partner at Key Asset Management, Executive Vice President and European Head of Fixed Income Sales at BNP Paribas, Executive Director in the Fixed Income and Equity Departments of Lehman Brothers in London and Geneva, and started his career in the Fixed Income Department of Credit Suisse First Boston in London and New York. Thomas graduated from Boston University and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Peter has held several senior positions in financial service such as Managing Director of Integrated Investment Management Ltd, London and Director of Altigefi SA, Paris. Before that he hold the position as Chairman of Key Assets Management Ltd, Group Chief Executive of KAM Group, Senior Advisor to the Board and Director and Head of Institutional Business of Singer & Friedlander Investment Management Ltd. London. He has also served as Deputy Executive Director and Chief Economist at PKA, Denmark and Associate Professor at Roskilde University and University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Peter graduated from Gothenburg University, Sweden.

Aarnout joined Alvine Capital in 2019. He started his career at JP Morgan, prior to Alvine Capital, he worked at iCollateral, a fin-tech company focusing on the securities lending market, as Managing Director and Head of Sales. Before that, Aarnout worked at AXA Investment Managers for 10 years, initially building the hedge fund business for the AXA Group and later advising large institutions on investing in a regulatory constrained environment. Before that Aarnout worked for CSFB/Credit Suisse/CSFP for 16 years in investment banking with roles in capital markets, asset finance and derivatives.
Aarnout graduated as a master of law from the university of Utrecht in the Netherlands.

Charlotte has considerable experience in investment banking. Most resent she founded an Investor Relations- and communication firm, FIRM Advisory. Charlotte is former Head of Capital Introduction at SEB Enskilda with specific focus on raising assets for alternative fund strategies. Prior to this Charlotte worked in various trading functions at SEB, such as Arbitrage Trading, Special situations trading and Stock lending. Charlotte also has had client responsibilities for counterparts as banks, financial institutions, corporates, and Swedish municipalities.
Charlotte graduated from the University of Stockholm, BSc (Econ), Accounting and Financial Management.

Alec joined Alvine Capital in 2012, with a focus on extending the reach into the Nordic investor market and enhancing the manager research. Alec has been active in developing Alvine Capital’s reach and network in the illiquid market on both the manager and the investor side.

Aoifinn has worked with institutional clients for her entire investment career, which has spanned the US, Europe and Asia. In April 2016, she assumed the role of CIO of the Chicago Policemen’s Annuity and Benefit Fund. From 2002 to 2006 she worked as a specialist consultant at Cambridge Associates Limited (London and Boston), where she specialised in the hedge fund area and worked with a range of institutional investors on their alternative allocations. In 2006, she established Clontarf Capital, a research and consulting firm with a particular focus on assisting public pension funds. She also developed a particular specialty in Asia-focused alternatives, developing and leading a product focused on that area, as well as in the tactical asset allocation and opportunistic credit areas. Previously, Aoifinn worked in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs in London and as a corporate attorney at Debevoise & Plimpton (New York and Hong Kong).
Aoifinn graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a first-class degree in law and received a BCL (Oxon) and an MBA (INSEAD, Dean’s list).
Managing Director at Maitland
Steven is Managing Director of Maitland, who provides fiduciary-, legal-, fund- and investment services to private clients and institutions. He joined Maitland in Luxembourg in 1985 and in December 1996 he moved to the Paris office where he was based until 2009 when he moved to the London office. Prior to joining Maitland Steven was articled to Webber Wentzel, Johannesburg. Steven has 25 years’ experience in international tax planning and the structuring of international collective investment funds. Steven graduated from the University of Stellenbosch and University of Witwatersrand. He is also actively involved in advising international financial services groups on the location, establishment and regulation of holding companies and collective investment undertakings. Steven has been a partner in the firm since 1987. In 2006 he was appointed as the CEO of Maitland.
