Jan brings more than 30 years of experience in the private equity industry and was most recently Head of Private Equity at the First Swedish National Pension Fund (AP1), a role he held for 15 years. Prior to AP1, Jan co-managed Nordea Investment Management's private equity fund-of-funds platform. He currently holds senior advisory positions at Hamilton Lane and Lightrock.

Over the course of his career, Jan has committed more than EUR 4 billion across over 140 private equity funds globally and has served on more than 25 investor advisory committees.

In his independent advisory capacity, Jan supports Alvine in providing general market intelligence, strategic insights related to private markets as well as sourcing and assessing GP partners, drawing on his extensive experience, deep market knowledge, and long-standing relationships across the private equity ecosystem.
